Buttonwood Bonsai Tree

- Light
- Buttonwood bonsai prefer full sun or bright light and 5–6 hours of direct sunlight each day. Lack of sunlight can cause weak foliage and other problems.
- Watering
- Buttonwood bonsai need consistent moisture. After planting, water daily for two weeks, then deeply twice a week for weeks three and four. After that, water deeply at least once a week for three months, then once or twice a month after that.
- Fertilizing
- Fertilize your buttonwood bonsai one to two weeks before repotting.
- Temperature
- Buttonwood bonsai are tropical trees and should be kept away from freezing temperatures.
- Air circulation
- Buttonwood bonsai need good air circulation.
- Repotting
- When repotting, look for knot-like galls in the root system and remove them if you see any.
- Pruning & Trimming
- You can clip your buttonwood bonsai to keep it looking neat, which works well in formal landscapes. In informal landscapes, you can trim branches occasionally and lower branches as the tree grows to allow people to walk underneath.
- Placement
- Bonsai trees take time to adjust to their environment, so it's best to keep them in one place as much as possible.

Stop in during store hours or call ahead for availablity. Supply is limited and sold on a first come first served basis.

We accept cash, check and most debit/credit cards. Payment is collected at the time of purchase and can be made in-store or by phone for pre-orders. Please have a valid form of photo id if using a check or debit/credit card.
Pre-orders:
For pre-orders, payment can be made over the phone. Your receipt will be emailed to you. You will be notified when your order is available for pickup. If you've made shipping or delivery arrangements you will be notified when to expect your items.
In-store Pickup:
Please have a copy of your receipt with you at the time of pickup.
Delivery/Shipping:
We provide delivery and shipping for an additional fee. Delivery/shipping can be requested by completing our contact form online, or by calling or email us directly.
